The role of time out, broken comfort zones and challenges

This month at the Nillumbik Tourism & Business Networking event, we are doing something a little different.

Story telling.

We have invited two of our own members to come and talk about recent personal journeys that have challenged them as women, made them question their life and ultimately resulted in re-invigoration for both their soul and business life.

In June this year, Blaise van Hecke walked 800 kms from one side of Spain to the other on the Camino Santiago Pilgrims Trail. She did it alone. Carrying everything she needed herself. To prove to herself she could do it.

In March this year, Kate Croucher cycled through Cambodia to raise money and awareness for the Christina Noble Childrens Foundation. She’d not ridden a bike for 35 years. She wanted to disrupt herself and life to see where the chips landed.

This is a casual night of story and conversation. Many of you know these two incredibly warm and generous women, and you are invited to hear and learn about their life changing experiences.
